I am Seedy Saidykhan, the founder of the Seedyshow, a human rights activist, television presenter, and founder of WeMigrants, a refugee organization in Germany. My passion for helping others and promoting social justice has been evident throughout my whole life. I have worked tirelessly with government institutions to improve the lives of migrants and refugees, empowering them to achieve their full potential.

As the founder of WeMigrants, I have provided critical support and resources to refugees and migrants in Europe, mainly in Germany. My organization has helped refugees integrate into their new communities by offering essential services such as empowerment projects, job training, integration training, information, and counseling.

My work as a television presenter and media personality has been instrumental in raising awareness about the challenges faced by refugees and migrants in Germany and Europe at large. Through my platform, I have given a voice to those who are often marginalized and overlooked. My interviews and programs have shed light on the struggles and triumphs of refugees and migrants, inspiring others to take action.
I am also a mentor for the Migrants Media Network in Germany, playing a crucial role in supporting the next generation of activists in migration and media. I have shared my expertise and experience, helping to cultivate a diverse and inclusive media landscape. In 2021, I was sent to my country, The Gambia, by the Migrants Media Network for a two-week mentorship program, where I sensitized the local community about the dangers and consequences of illegal migration, as well as the legal aspects of traveling to Europe.

My dedication to human rights and social justice is truly relentless. Through my work and tireless efforts I am trying to make an impact on the lives of countless individuals and I try my work to inspire others to follow the same path. In 2021, I was nominated and honored by the city of Oldenburg.

I was honored to have won the diaspora award in 2023 in Niedersachsen Germany. This award was for my work and our project, WeMigrants. It validates the importance of creating a platform where refugees and migrants can share information and learn from each other’s experiences.
With our motto, “Information is Key,” we strive to build a sustainable network that empowers migrants to lead more self-determined lives. This award is a testament to our impact and motivates us to continue our mission of creating a supportive and inclusive community. The award-giving organization was the Africa Network Bremen eV and the network deKol Northwest initiative.
